A Circus Ringleaders Wishlist!
This year we would like to purchase a hapi drum for the circus to keep and a few small instruments. It is always unpredictable if the performers will be musical and have their own instruments, and we need music in some of the places that don’t have power of any kind. So I would like a drum, some maracas, tambourines whistles etc…Portable easy circus noise making!
We need:
Costumes and Clown Kit:
- face paints
- glitter
- tube for hula hoops
- clown noses
- clown costumes, hats and wigs
- brightly colored cotton shirts
Juggling equipment:
- cone poi
- juggling clubs
- fabric for juggling scarves
- balls for juggling
- hoop tapes
- kevlar for making toys
- diablo
- devil sticks
- staves
- fire toys
Musical Equipment:
- Hapi Drum
- Small instruments we can travel with
- stereo system and speakers
- battery and inverter to operate stereo
Other items:
- tools of all kinds
- first aid kit, and preventative medicines
- friendship bracelets( in quantities of thousands, one for each kid)
- parachutes suitable for children’s games (at least a dozen, to leave with the donation kits)
- art supplies( paint, pens pencil, crayons, paper, brushes)
- stickers
- leather for mask making
- bubble making supplies
- balloons
